About the Conference

The Next Gen: Security Conference The Hague brings together experts, emerging thinkers and future leaders. It is a space where experience and innovation reinforce each other, where sharp analysis meets fresh perspectives, and where the agenda for the future is shaped collectively. In doing so, the Netherlands positions itself as the annual gathering place for fresh thinking on international security.

The conference is an initiative of the Netherlands Atlantic Association, the Clingendael Institute and Leiden University Campus The Hague. The 2026 edition is hosted with support from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Municipality of The Hague.
